Sales Manager
This position is based in the hotel which is situated near Thetford, just off the main A11. It is a magnificent 40 bedrooms + Country House Hotel, part of the Premier Venues Group. The hotel offers a wide range of Conference, Events and Wedding facilities.
You will work as part of the management team and will work to meet sales targets set by the Directors. Your role will be to ensure sales and marketing activities are implemented to maximise sales and to assist in the effective management of existing accounts. You will also need to be proactive in identifying and developing new business opportunities for the hotel and the group. Knowledge of our competitors and an understanding of our local and regional market is also a requirement.
The successful candidate should have a proven record of sales and have the required skills to meet the hotel’s objectives in a challenging market.

Events & Sales Co-ordinator
Competitive Salary + commission (depending on experience)
This position is based in the hotel situated near Thetford, Norfolk, a beautiful privately owned 40 bedrooms + Country House Hotel, part of the Premier Venues Group. The hotel offers a wide range of Conference, Events and Wedding facilities. We are looking for an Events & Sales Co-ordinator to join our team reporting to Senior Management.
As the Events & Sales Co-ordinator you will be responsible for dealing with all enquiries and converting them into a successful booking for the hotel, meeting with clients for new and existing business and at every opportunity maximising sales for the hotel. The position would also require you to maintain good working relationships and constant communication with booking agents, looking at ways of developing new business and maintain a client database for new business and marketing opportunities.
You will be required to ensure the effective running of all events and functions with the support of your staff including menus, room layouts, staff requirements and the delivery of all the client’s needs whilst always ensuring excellent customer service.
The successful applicant will have a strong sales background with some experience of hospitality or the management of events & functions. You must also be able to manage your time effectively, have good leadership skills, good administration skills and be confident in building good business relationships and driving the business forward.
